After completing a robust program assessment of the High Risk Young Mothers program, Openfields curated the most relevant early childhood development research to help Roca build a new 2Gen program model and data collection strategy. We mapped the current organizational data flows and recommended both processes and tools to help Roca collect data that would align with research demonstrating a direct connection between program activities and improved health and wellness outcomes for mothers and their children.
Our work with Openfields has helped us see the limits in our own thinking and begin to generate ideas and alternatives to challenge and transform the status quo.
