Dinner with Bill Milliken

This evening will feature a casual, comfortable, and conversational cocktail hour followed by a short “fireside chat” and a question and answer with Bill Milliken, Founder of Communities In Schools.  Bill founded CIS in the 1970s and is currently “the nation’s leading community-based organization helping students achieve in school and prepare for life.”  Openfields is bringing together a diverse mix of social impact and philanthropy leaders from around the country and local to Atlanta.  The hope for this gathering is to share a meal and conversation, and hear from Bill about the specific things he did to sustain deep community, a creative edge, and a clear conscience through the highs and lows across decades of work, fundraising, policy, politics, and partnership- all on behalf of youth.
