The Consultant will play a key role in expanding Openfields impact by delivering high-quality client experiences and supporting successful projects. The Consultant will join our consulting team as a core contributor—supporting the design and delivery of client projects, contributing to internal development and team culture, and assisting with business development activities. The Consultant will work within multiple projects at a time – in some cases as a workstream lead and in others as a project team member.

Additionally, the Consultant will actively participate in team engagement and support, including:

  • Participating in and contributing to team meetings and events
  • Facilitating team learnings, as relevant
  • Identifying internal improvement opportunities and developing solutions
  • Managing internal projects
  • Supporting business development opportunities
  • Mentoring junior or peer employees

CULTURE

Openfields operates with an entrepreneurial mindset – we work and adapt quickly in ambiguity, we take responsibility, we try new ideas and processes out.  We define clear job expectations and hold ourselves accountable to them. We also expect all employees to be able and willing to take on a range of tasks and roles to get the work done and make Openfields a better place to work. In practice, this means no one is above any task, and we all chip in when anyone needs help and everyone shares ideas openly.

Openfields loves to align work with the interests and skillsets of our employees, and we are consistently working with employees to scope out potential ideas, clients, projects, and activities they would like to work more on. We also provide employees learning opportunities from our “infinite book budget” to professional development courses.
